UCI’s Anton Co-Big West Athlete of the Week

Freshman Anton Slobounov has been named Big West Co-Athlete of the

Week for his performance at the UCLA Diving Invitationals.

Slobounov came in third place in the three-meter competition with

427.85 points and fourth in the one-meter competition with 530.35

points.

The Anteaters will face Cal State Northridge on Saturday at 1 p.m.

at the Anteater Aquatics Complex. The Anteater seniors will be

honored prior to the meet with this being the last home meet of the

year.

The Anteaters will host the Fresno State women’s team and the UC

San Diego men’s team on Saturday at p.m.
