Little Feet Football Club claimed a 1-0 win over Soccer Garage in the semifinals of the Newport Beach Premiere Coed Soccer League.
Luis Esparza scored the game winner for Little Feet Saturday at Bonita Creek Park on an assist from Shaun Moothart.
Goalkeeper Alan Tasedan recorded his second straight playoff shutout.
Little Feet FC represents the Newport Beach charity Little Feet, which provides soccer balls to children throughout the world.
Trevor Slavick, the charity’s founder, has mailed soccer balls to soldiers in Iraq and orphans in Guatemala and Kenya.
The team will play for the championship tonight at Lincoln Park at 7:30.
