Sage Hill’s Kish, Hunt, Danner earn high honors

Sage Hill School juniors Lindsey Kish and Hanalynn Hunt and senior Tierney Danner earned first-team All-Academy League honors in girls’ volleyball after helping the Lightning split the league championship for the second time in four years.
Kish finished with 158 kills and 190 digs. The outside hitter played an instrumental role in the Lightning (15-11, 9-1 in league) reaching the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section Division IV-AA playoffs.
Danner, a middle blocker, recorded 92 kills and 45 blocks.
Sage Hill players receiving second-team honors were juniors Madison Gordon-Lavaee, Sally Mace and Hayden Furey.
Freshman Tess Wohrle received honorable mention.
Savannah Holte of St. Margaret’s was named league MVP.
