Talk about the jet set. Or, you could say this kitty Jet’s pretty fly in a Santa outfit. Oh, and did we mention he’s available?

The Community Animal Network has gotten into the seasonal fun dressing up available pets in holiday-themed get-ups, including Jet, a 4-year-old who is a favorite of the organization’s founder.

This friendly feline was rescued after a vicious cat fight that left him bleeding and with torn eyelids. Fortunately, donors were able to pay for eyelid reconstruction.

Meet Jet and other animals at Fashion Island noon to 4 p.m. weekends with adoption fairs sponsored by Russo’s Pet Experience.

Adopting animals for Christmas is a year-round responsibility, the network reminds those in the market for a pet. If you’re thinking about giving a pet as a gift, it’s best to give your loved one a gift certificate so they can pick out the animal themselves.
