Radeva wins tourney

Newport Harbor High junior-to-be Annie Radeva won the 37th annual Lakewood Summer Junior Open Tournament in the under-16 girls’ single division on Aug. 4.

Radeva, the top seed, defeated second-seeded Madeleine Gandawidjaja of San Marino, 6-0, 6-2, in the final.

The tournament title is Radeva’s second in as many weeks. She claimed the Costa Mesa Summer Junior Classic championship on July 19.
