USC picked up a commitment from Michael Pittman, who was once committed to UCLA, on Saturday.
“I am very grateful to all of the colleges that have shown interest in me and am extremely blessed to be able to choose between these great schools. I have decided to further my education and football career at the University of Southern California,” Pittman wrote on Twitter.
He also considered Oregon.
Pittman, a receiver and safety, caught 47 passes for 914 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games during the 2014 season at Westlake Village Oaks Christian. He also intercepted three passes.
Pittman is the first defensive back to commit to USC’s 2016 recruiting class.
