USC commit Isaac Whitney meets former Trojans star Willie McGinest

A week before he begins classes at USC, receiver Isaac Whitney met former USC and NFL star Willie McGinest during a tour of the NFL Network. He said it was an uncle's friend who works there who gave the tour.

Whitney said he “talked football” with McGinest, who is an analyst at the network.

“He just told me to take advantage of my opportunity,” Whitney said.

Whitney, a transfer from Riverside City College, is one of five new players who will enroll next week, including quarterback Ricky Town, linebacker Cameron Smith and offensive linemen Chuma Edoga and Roy Hemsley.
