Angel Martinez, 62, a white man, was found dead with an arrow in his chest at about 1:45 a.m. in the intersection of 13th Street East and Avenue K in Lancaster Tuesday, March 11. He was declared dead by paramedics at the scene. Deputies from the L.A. County sheriff’s Lancaster station responded to a radio call of a man down from a traffic accident. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the man with an arrow lodged in his chest. More in the Los Angeles Times story.
