So you think those fund-raising-golf tournaments that offer a free car if you make a hole-in-one never have a happy ending?

The Newbury Park baseball team held a fund raiser at Moorpark Country Club last weekend, and Andrew Clark, whose daughter is the girlfriend of Newbury Park catcher JoJo Sharrar, made a hole-in-one on No. 9 of the Ridgeline course, earning him a Ford Edge from Galpin Ford.

‘With luck like that, he should marry into that family,’ Coach Scott Drootin said of Sharrar.
