Two proposals originated in the Southern Section have been rejected by the CIF Federated Council at its meeting on Monday.
A proposal to remove ‘athletically motivated’ and ‘transferring for athletic reasons’ from the CIF bylaws and constitution was rejected.
Also failing was a proposal to revise the regional football playoff games. That means the current 16-game schedule and earlier start to the season in August will remain.
