Prep Soccer Finals to Switch Nights

To accommodate Foothill High of Santa Ana, the Southern Section boys’ 4-A soccer final between Foothill and Culver City has been changed to Saturday night at 8 at Gahr High.

The 3-A final between San Gabriel and Lakewood, in turn, will be played tonight at 8.

The 4-A game had originally been scheduled for tonight, but the switch was made because Foothill’s girls’ basketball team is also in a Southern Section playoff final tonight.

The rest of the Southern Section soccer schedule remains unchanged. In the girls’ 4-A final, El Toro will play Claremont tonight at 6 at Gahr.

Saturday’s playoff schedule at Gahr: Boys’ 1-A final, Valley Christian of Cerritos vs. Agoura, noon; girls’ 2-A final, Montclair vs. Ganesha, 2 p.m.; boys’ 2-A final, Estancia vs. Troy, 4 p.m.; girls’ 3-A final, La Quinta vs. Simi Valley, 6 p.m., and boys’ 4-A final, Foothill vs. Culver City, 8 p.m.
