Golden West Beats La Verne in Volleyball

The Golden West College men’s volleyball team defeated La Verne Friday night, 15-5, 15-3, 15-9, in a South Coast Conference volleyball match at La Verne.

The Rustlers (2-0 in conference and 4-0 overall) were led by freshman middle blocker Terry Fresenius, who had 11 kills and 5 blocks, and Steve Conti, who had 8 kills and 3 aces.
