Mental Health

As was noted in the news recently: Orange County’s spending for mental health is the lowest of all California counties; our jail has been cited because of continued overcrowding and the Albert Sitton Home has been criticized for accepting too many abandoned and abused babies.
I don’t mean to appear political, but isn’t this a saddening situation for a county considered to be one of America’s wealthiest?
