Lyon, France — A man with a pistol neatly concealed in a loaf of French bread robbed a bank of more than $2,800, police said today.
The man, about 25 years old, had carefully carved out the inside of the bread loaf and concealed the weapon inside, police said. He showed the gun to a bank teller at the Credit Agricole bank Thursday, and following the holdup he walked out of the bank and disappeared in traffic, leaving not a crumb of evidence.
