Samoan boxer Chris Schwenke, who lapsed into a coma after a fight Monday night at the Forum, has shown some improvement since undergoing brain surgery to remove a blood clot.
“His vital signs are stable,” said a Daniel Freeman hospital spokeswoman. “He’s opening his eyes on request and is beginning to focus.”
The Seattle Seahawks, continuing their search for backup quarterback prospects, signed two-year USFL veteran Frank Seurer of the Los Angeles Express.
