Right or Wrong--No More Pie in the Sky

Lester Thurow writes clearly and comprehensibly about how failing to control world population will (not “may”) result in the slices of the American pie shrinking ever slimmer. (“U.S. Attack on Birth Control in Third World May Boomerang,” Viewpoints, Aug. 2.) President Reagan is criminal in letting “religious” ideals take precedence over the reality of the human tidal wave that is already creating havoc at our border.

Mr. President: The “new right” is all wrong! There is no more pie in the sky!
