The deaths of Edith and Reid Logan of El Toro, as described in the Aug. 14 edition, show what Alzheimer’s disease can drive people to do.
This unfortunate situation is a result of the lack of necessary community resources to provide for, not only the victims of Alzheimer’s disease, but their families as well.
The Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Assn. of Orange County is continually seeking to help ailing families, educate the public and fund essential research.
