Why can’t the newscasters get their facts straight? When Sandy Hill announced Madonna’s wedding, she named the songs Madonna is famous for and included “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” which is Cyndi Lauper’s song. We called the KCBS-TV newsroom to correct this and got the feeling it couldn’t care less. A little fact like this may seem unimportant to the news people, but it is very important to fans of the rock stars and their videos.
