Mustin Lake regained the lead from Tile and drew away to beat stablemate Bachelor Beau by two lengths in the 59th running of the $134,510 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.
Jockey Pat Day earned his 42nd stakes win at the track aboard Mustin Lake, who covered 1 1/16 miles in 1:46 4/5. The winner, along with Bachelor Beau, returned $5.20, $4.60 and $2.60. Regal Dreamer was third and paid $3.
