NTS Wins 3-Year Contract at Edwards Air Force Base
- Share via
Calabasas-based National Technical Systems has won a three-year contract to analyze materials for the Air Force Rocket Propulsion Laboratory at Edwards Air Force Base. The contract calls for NTS to examine rocket fuels, propellants, pressurizing gases and other materials.
NTS also received a contract from Taiwan to test how a nuclear power plant would stand up to an earthquake. Structural testing was started last month at the Maanshan plant, at the southern tip of the island. The project is to be completed by September.
Each of the contracts is for less than $1 million. NTS performs testing primarily for the aerospace and defense industries.
