Loosen Up, Fans, It’s Only Football

To all of those USC alums, and others, who wrote in last week about Ted Tollner, you should be ashamed of yourselves and I am ashamed to consider any of you alums of USC. To write as you did, against a man who is not only a fine coach but who is a fine gentleman and one who has the respect of his entire team and many USC alums, was uncalled for and untimely.

I do have a suggestion to all those who have written or care to write regarding the firing of Coach Tollner. How about one of you taking over the coaching job for a week. Let’s see just how damned smart you are! Before finding fault with others, check your own plus and minus chart.
