Raise Cain and Hell, Not Fat Cat Salaries

Enormous pay raises for high-level federal government employees is immoral and completely out of sync with what is happening to the rest of our work force, nationally.
Employees in all sectors of private industry and state and local government have been forced to take pay cuts, loss of fringe benefits, and/or lay-offs.
Income tax cuts instituted by the Reagan bunch will benefit this type of affluent group the most.
Why are these obscene increases needed? If you believe the figures that these same bureaucrats feed us, the cost-of-living increase this year is miniscule. In addition, lucky social security recipients will get a “whopping” 1.3% living cost adjustment next year. I think this percentage is more proper for the fat cats too.
