Police arrested 26 people who broke through a fence around a U.S. Air Force base in Britain from which bombers raided Libya last April. The protesters, who were participating in a peace demonstration organized by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, broke through the fence in 11 places, and some of them reached operational areas of the Upper Heyford base west of London before being captured, police said. Some of the aircraft that attacked targets in Libya are based at Upper Heyford.
