Peninsula : ‘Youth on Parade’ Slated

The sixth “Youth on Parade” will start at 10 a.m. Friday near the Courtyard Mall in the Peninsula Center and proceed to the Rolling Hills High School athletic field.
Led by Grand Marshal Tracy Austin, the PTA-sponsored parade of high school marching bands will distribute balloons along the way and sell souvenir pins designed by cartoonist Paul Conrad.
At the athletic field, the Palos Verdes High School marching band and other local units will put on a show and food will be sold. Performances will continue in the afternoon at the Peninsula Center.
