Woman’s Body Found Along Silver Strand

The nude body of a woman described only as a Latina about 20 years old was discovered Friday morning in a Coronado bird sanctuary on the Silver Strand, authorities said.
An autopsy is pending on the woman, whose body showed no signs of trauma, the San Diego County coroner’s office said.
Sheriff’s homicide officers and Coronado police are handling the investigation.
The body was found at 7:55 a.m. by a woman bird watcher who visits the area daily, according to the sheriff’s office.
