MagneTek Inc., a Los Angeles-based electrical products manufacturer, said it acquired McGraw-Edison Service, Columbus, Ohio, and McGraw-Edison Controls, Clawson, Mich. Both were divisions of Cooper Industries Inc., Houston. MagneTek said it also acquired Universal Electric Co., Owosso, Mich. Terms were not disclosed.
