Cousins Home Furnishings has obtained a $5-million credit line from Lloyds Bank, company officials said Monday. The Brick Warehouse of Canada, Cousins’ majority shareholder, will secure the line of credit in exchange for $200,000 worth of Cousins’ stock. The company has yet to determine how many shares of stock will be transferred to The Brick. Cousins, a San Diego-based furniture retailing chain, will use the line of credit to pay a $1.7-million loan from Wells Fargo Bank and for general working capital.
