TransTechnology Receives Orders Worth $11.3 Million

TransTechnology Corp., a Sherman Oaks-based aerospace company, said it has received three contracts worth $11.3 million over the next two years to provide the Navy with chaff--tiny strips of metal foil dropped from aircraft to confuse enemy radar. TransTechnology reported sales for its fiscal year ended last March 31 of $113 million.
