WASHINGTON — The U.S. Postal Service has announced that it will issue two new stamps, one honoring the Girl Scouts and the other featuring a canal boat.
The 22-cent Scouting stamp will be issued in Washington next Thursday, the anniversary of the founding of the Girl Scouts. It will feature 14 Girl Scout badges.
A 10-cent stamp featuring a canal boat will be issued on April 11. The stamp, part of the transportation series, will be released in Buffalo, N.Y., a terminus of the Erie Canal.
