Mitchell Fights Mercado Tonight at Forum

California featherweight champion Irving Mitchell will fight Alberto Mercado tonight at the Forum in the $100,000 Stroh’s featherweight boxing tournament.
The card starts at 6:50 with two other featherweight bouts, George Navarro (14-0) meeting Vincent Christian (14-1-1), and Tyrone Downs (26-5) going against Roger Arrevalo (25-2-2).
The switch-hitting Mitchell (29-4) is a late replacement. Mercado is 23-4-1.
