FT. HUACHUCA, Ariz. — The Army today announced the court-martial of a soldier for having sex with others while knowingly carrying the AIDS virus in what an Army spokesman called the first such case in U.S. military or civilian courts.
Pfc. Adrian G. Morris, 27, will go on trial later this month, officials said. Morris, of Caseyville, Ill., was accused of having sex with a male and female soldier while knowingly carrying the AIDS virus. A single charge of aggravated assault involving another person--Morris’ fiancee--was dismissed.
