Texaco appealed to the Texas Supreme Court

In asking the highest Texas court to reverse a lower court ruling in the Pennzoil case, Texaco argued that the Texas court of appeals “glossed over” numerous legal errors “in its headlong drive to affirm” the historic $10.3-billion judgment against Texaco. The 350-page court brief contains no major new allegations and focuses as before on allegations that the law was misapplied and that the jury hearing the dispute over the ownership of Getty Oil was incorrectly instructed.
