The airline, part of the Texas Air Corp. group of airlines, said the expansion will be completed this year. The carrier said it will hire 500 reservationists, 400 maintenance employees, 200 pilots and 350 flight attendants, raising the number of Continental employees at the Denver hub to about 8,750. The vast majority of the reservation and maintenance jobs will be filled locally, the company said.
