GM and Japan

General Motors has just made another agreement with Japan to manufacture cars to be sold in the United States. In 1950 GM president, Charles Wilson, said: “What’s good for General Motors is good for America.” And America smiled.

In 1987, how things have changed. What’s good for General Motors is good for Japan. And Japan smiles.

And America weeps.
