Industrial Equity (Pacific) said it has acquired a 9.3% stake in Del E. Webb Corp., a troubled Phoenix-based gaming and real estate company, and would seek to buy as much as 50%. Industrial Equity, which is based in Hong Kong, said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it purchased the shares, valued at about $15.3 million, for investment purposes.
