Thank you for your editorial “Why Contra Aid Is Wrong” opposing further aid to the contras and for the report on life in Nicaragua (July 19).
President Reagan still has the gall to ask Congress again for more aid to the contras, $140 million this time, while he continues to accuse it of “tax-and-spend” policies.
