Santa Ana Advances in Its Tournament

Leo Leon scored 12 points, Oscar Wilson 11 and Scootie Lynwood 10 to lead Santa Ana High School to a 47-43 victory over Irvine Friday night in one quarterfinal of the Santa Ana 12-team summer basketball tournament at Santa Ana High School.
Ocean View defeated Tustin, 50-41, in another quarterfinal game and will play Santa Ana at 8 tonight in the semifinals. University, which defeated Gahr, 46-37, will play Lakewood in the other semifinal game at 6:45 p.m. Lakewood defeated Warren, 52-40.
In consolation games today: South Lake Tahoe will play Saddleback at 1:45 p.m.; Western will play Orange at 3; Gahr will play Warren at 4:15, and Tustin will play Irvine at 5:30.
