Regarding the results of the telephone poll in conjunction with the Pope’s visit, (Part I, Aug. 23), it is distressing and scary that those persons who have decided what is sinful and what is not are now deciding who should live and who should not--56% see no sin in euthanasia.
Thank you, though, for showing that a just society is not built upon public opinion translated into law.
