A case of the sniffles prompted 29-year-old pop singer Michael Jackson to postpone the last three concerts of his monthlong tour of Japan. A spokesman for Osaka’s Yomiuri Television said that Jackson, who had sold out each of the 24,000-ticket concerts scheduled earlier this week in the Osaka Baseball Stadium, will instead stage the events Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Jackson’s tour on the country began Sept. 10. Concert organizers are expected to provide more details about the singer’s cold today.
