Lakers Waive Rookies Glass and Tally

The Lakers trimmed their roster to 14 players Wednesday by waiving rookies Willie Glass and Ralph Tally.

Glass, from St. John’s, was selected by the Lakers in the third round of the draft, their highest pick. He scored two points in his only exhibition game.

Tally, a fourth-round choice from Norfolk (Va.) State, was scoreless in his only game. He was a teammate of Glass’ at Atlantic City (N.J.) High School.
