Gunman Flees After Robbing Bank in Orange

A robber walked into a crowded bank lobby in Orange Monday afternoon and robbed a teller at gunpoint, police reported.
The incident was reported at 3:53 p.m. at the Security Pacific National Bank branch at 941 N. Tustin Ave. A man walked up to a teller, pulled a pistol and demanded money, police said. After taking $300 in cash, the man fled.
The 20 customers and employees present were not injured. The man is described as white, about 30, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds with curly, ear-length blond hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, a Levi jacket and jeans.
