A 34-year-old San Clemente man was injured Wednesday when the motorcycle he was riding on Ortega Highway near Caspers Regional Park collided with a westbound car, the California Highway Patrol said.
The cyclist, Harold D. Lashbrook, was eastbound on a blind curve at about 4:45 p.m. when he crossed double yellow lines into the westbound lane to pass four cars, witnesses told the CHP. The other driver suffered a broken arm and other injuries and was in satisfactory condition Thursday at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo
Miller, who suffered minor chest injuries, was treated at the same hospital and released Thursday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
