Northridge Upsets USC in Baseball, 15-7

Lenn Gilmore went 3 for 5 with 3 home runs and 8 runs batted in to lead Cal State Northridge to a 15-7 upset victory Tuesday over USC, ranked No. 13 in Division I, in a nonconference baseball game at USC.
Gilmore hit a first-inning grand slam off former Providence standout Jeff Cirillo, who lasted only one-third of an inning, allowing 3 hits and 3 walks.
CSUN (5-12) has won three consecutive games. USC fell to 15-3.
Also for Northridge, Chae-Ho Chong went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 5 RBIs and John Bonilla was 2 for 2. Reliever Dave Feeley (3-0) picked up the win.
