Anthony Cook scored 15 points and Lute Olson won his 100th game at Arizona Thursday night as the third-ranked Wildcats overwhelmed Washington State, 79-41.
Olson is 291-143 at Cal State Long Beach, Iowa and Arizona. He is 100-50 in five seasons at Arizona.
Arizona (27-2 overall, 16-1 in the Pacific 10) made 7 of its first 10 shots, taking a 14-3 lead, and went on to a 41-15 margin at halftime.
Washington State is 11-15, 6-10.
Oregon State 59, Oregon 47--Gary Payton had 30 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals, and the Beavers clinched the No. 2 seeding in the Pac-10 tournament by downing the Ducks at Corvallis.
UCLA still can tie Oregon State (18-8, 12-5) for second place, but the Beavers still would be seeded second because they swept the Bruins during the regular season.
Washington 77, Arizona State 73--Eldridge Recasner scored 25 points, and the Huskies (9-17, 5-12) rallied from a 17-point first-half deficit to beat the Sun Devils (13-14, 6-11) at Tempe, Ariz.
