Track Competition Begins at UCLA Today

Decathlon and heptathlon competition begins today at 11:30 a.m. at UCLA in the Pacific 10 Conference track and field meet.
Arizona State’s Derek Huff has the best conference score this year with 8,075 points. Washington State’s Simon Shirley is the defending champion.
USC’s Wendy Brown is favored in the heptathlon. She scored 5,566 points last month.
The main portion of the Pac-10 meet will be held Saturday and Sunday at UCLA’s Drake Stadium.
