Community Psychiatric Centers posted net earnings of $19.7 million for its second quarter ended May 31, 19% higher than the $16.6 million reported for the year-earlier quarter. Revenues increased 20% to $93.1 million from $77.6 million. For the first six months of the fiscal year, net earnings totaled $36.6 million, a 17% increase from the $31.3 million posted in the prior-year first half. Revenues rose 20% to $174.7 million from $146 million. Community Psychiatric Centers, Laguna Hills, owns and operates a chain of acute psychiatric hospitals. It also provides alcoholic treatment services, operates a chain of kidney dialysis centers and owns a home health-care services business.
