Postal Instant Press Inc.’s net income for fiscal 1988 climbed 16% to $4.1 million from a year earlier. Revenue totaled $24.6 million, up 8%. For the fourth quarter, earnings jumped 45% to $1.14 million. Revenue was flat at $6.2 million. The company said its profits were boosted by the sale of its half-interest in its headquarters building. But PIP also absorbed extra expenses related to increased interest expense associated with the repurchase of 6.7% of its common stock from retired Chairman Bill LeVine and members of his family. Los Angeles-based PIP is the top business printer and largest franchiser of printing centers in the world.
