The Philadelphia Eagles and the Cleveland Browns, both playoff teams last season, will meet Aug. 6 at London’s Wembley Stadium in the National Football League’s fourth straight “American Bowl.”
The game will take place the same day that the Rams and the Super Bowl champion San Francisco 49ers meet in the first NFL game to be played in Japan, as the league continues to expand its overseas exhibition schedule.
Last year, the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears met in Sweden.
