El Toro : Night Training to Bring Increase in Jet Noise

Residents were warned Tuesday that increased night training at the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station will result in more jet noise in the surrounding communities this week and next.
Marine Corps officials said the training will be conducted between 7:30 and 10 p.m. today and Friday of this week, and Monday through Wednesday and Friday of next week. The aircraft will practice field carrier landings in preparation for actual night landing on aircraft carriers.
