NATION IN BRIEF : THE WEST : Wyoming, S. Dakota Cities Lose Power

An unexplained power outage left cities in Wyoming and South Dakota without electricity for an hour. At least six cities lost power in the wake of a five-minute “power oscillation” that affected Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and South Dakota. Officials with power companies in all four states worked to determine the cause of the fluctuation of current.
